Potted Spring Flowers - DiY

With the warmer days we've been having recently & Spring officially here tomorrow!! I've been really wanting to spruce up our front porch with some pretty spring flowers.

I already had the planter I wanted to use & knew I would spruce it up with a burlap bow.  So, then it was off to Home Depot to pick up flowers & potting soil.

What you'll need:
+Plant pot
+Potting soil
+Pretty flowers
+Wired burlap
+Scissors
+Hot glue gun & hot glue

Start by filling up the plant pot about 3/4 full then begin placing your flowers around in the top of the soil.  Once all of the flowers are arranged in place, top with more soil & voila!  To add a bow, just measure out around the pot.  Once your bow is measured & tied, hot glue around the back of the pot & the back of the bow to ensure that it stays in place.

The stool is an antique piece my mom used to decorate with & between seeing it & smelling the beautiful flowers everyday when I come home I can say I'm really happy with the new updates to our front porch!

How are you willing Spring to stay around?

XOXO,
      Shayna

  6. So pretty :). I'd much rather have a bouquet of these than a rose bouquet any day of the week!
