November Goals!

Happy Monday friends!!

I'm not really sure where the time is going but, I feel like October did just like September - flew by!  Anyone else feel this way??  I mean, I just got my Fall wreath hung on the front door & the front stoop looking presentable... Soon I'll be asking Matt to drag down the Christmas decorations from the attic & being all holly & jolly.  I guess time will continue to be one of those life mysteries... always seeming to drag on in the moment but, gone so quickly.

Ok... Moving on!  October was a busy month - full of Dr. appointments, seeing friends & family, making to-do list & marking things off - that's always a great feeling, & ending the month with my best friends little boy being born & Halloween!  November has welcomed us with cooler temps that actually feel like Fall & the promise of a great month ahead as my birthday approaches & the holidays officially begin with Thanksgiving!

October Goals

+ Finish the nursery closet  We do have a few little touch-ups but, it's usable if we needed it right this second
+ Visit a pumpkin patch  Was a fun day at the Dallas Arboretum!
+ Stay on track with birthdays  I must admit they are bought but, not all delivered
+ Plan a quick get-away for Matt & I next month  This is coming off because we just don't have time!
+ Start planning/shopping for Christmas gifts  Made my list & bought a gift this last weekend!
+ Begin sharing our house tour here on the blog
+ Create a cute Halloween costume
+ Make some yummy Fall recipes  Apple Taquitos {here} & Pumpkin Dip {here}
+ Make a 6 pack of my favorite Fall/Pumpkin beers  We tried at one grocery store but, struck out.

I finally got my wreath completed & hung over the weekend!  Hello Fall!

November Goals

+ Finish Jack's dresser
+ Build shelf for Jack's nursery
+ Organize the office
+ Re-organize the kitchen cabinets - gotta prepare for baby-hood!
+ Make a Fall 6 back of beers
+ Try 1 new crock pot recipe
+ Walk 3-4 times per week
+ Try my hand at a pecan pie for Thanksgiving - this could be trouble as it's my favorite kind of pie& I'll want to make it all the time! ;)
+ Hang curtains in the guest room
+ Organize guest room closet so it's accessible to guest (not having our catch-all room anymore makes things difficult! Lol!)

What are your goals for November?
